We offer computer support to small businesses and home users around Scotland. Supporting operating systems Windows, Macs and Linux, basic networking for 16 machines or less, printer's, router's and wireless networks. See our Standard support charges.

For all networking over 16 desktops please contact us to arrange a site visit as various options are available. Standard call out charges apply.

We will not support any networks larger than 16 until a site visit has been done and a contract is in place.

Technical Support Charges

  • Hourly maintenance rate on or off site is £40 per hour.
  • On site minimum charge 1 hour.
  • Off site remote desktop support minimum charge 15 mins (£10).
  • Engineer for 1/2 day £120. (4hrs)
  • Enginner for a full day £240. (8 hrs)
  • Additional call out fee's applied, depending on location.

Technical Support Terms and Conditions

Computer Scotland will undertake commercially reasonable efforts to provide technical assistance under this agreement, but do not guarantee that all problems will be solved or that any item will be error-free.

COMPUTER SCOTLAND MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND REGARDING THE HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR ANY SERVICES COMPUTER SCOTLAND MAY PROVIDE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ARISING BY STATUTE, LAW OR TRADE DEALING OR USAGE. ALL MATERIALS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS."

COMPUTER SCOTLAND IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR ANY REASON (INCLUDING LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF DATA OR SOFTWARE, LOSS OF PROFITS OR LOSS OF REVENUE) EVEN IF COMPUTER SCOTLAND HAS BEEN SPECIFICALLY ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND OUR LIABILITY IN ALL EVENTS WILL NOT EXCEED THE SUPPORT FEES THAT YOU HAVE PAID UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.

This is the full and final agreement between you and Computer Scotland, and it supersedes any promises, representations or agreements relating to the subject of this agreement. This agreement may be changed only if you and Computer Scotland authorised representative do so in writing. No inconsistent, additional, or pre-printed terms on your purchase order or other business form apply.

Response Time

A response to a request for Support may consist of receipt of and acknowledgement by Computer Scotland of your request for Support, and may not include answers to your request for Support. You acknowledge and understand that no software is perfect or error free, and that despite its commercially reasonable efforts, Computer Scotland may be unable to provide answers to or resolve some or all requests for Support. Computer Scotland makes no promises, guarantees or assurances of any kind that it will be able to provide the Support you seek.

Response Time is based on your purchased Support Program.
